TCDD Malıköy Train Station Museum is Closed to Visits
TCDD Malıköy Train Station Museum, located on the 30th kilometer of the Ankara – Eskişehir road, has been temporarily closed to the public due to the works carried out in front of the museum by Ankara Municipality.
TCDD Malıköy Train Station Museum is a museum located in Polatlı district of Ankara. The museum is located in a historical train station built in 1898 and used as the command center of the Turkish army during the Battle of Sakarya.
Photographs, documents, weapons, ammunition and other historical artifacts from the Battle of Sakarya are exhibited in the museum. Additionally, there is a martyrdom monument, a statue of Atatürk in civilian clothes and a locomotive in the museum.
The museum is an important visit point for those who want to learn the history of the Battle of Sakarya and get to know the War of Independence closely.
The museum is open to visitors every day of the week between 09:00 and 17:00.

- Weapons and ammunition used by the Turkish army
