Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Holds Meetings in London on Sidelines of IMO Assembly
Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Transport Authority Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser has held meetings in London with several counterparts and officials on the sidelines of the 33rd session of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly.
Al-Jasser met with IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim; Jamaican Minister of Science, Energy, Telecommunications and Transport Daryl Vaz; Nigerian Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola; Indonesian Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi; Swedish Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Andreas Carlson; and Philippines Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista.
Minister Al-Jasser also met with Yemeni Minister of Transport Dr. Abdulsalam Saleh Hamid, Qatari Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, and Bahraini Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Kaabi. Finally, Al Jasser met with Assistant Commandant for Prevention Policy at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Admiral Wayne R. Arguin Jr.
During the meetings, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in a number of development and economic fields, and investment opportunities available in the public and private industries in a way that contributes to strengthening promising partnerships and employing innovation and modern technologies in the maritime Industry.
