Parking Lot for 78 Vehicles Next to Akçaray Plajyolu Stop

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is providing a solution to urban traffic and parking density with new parking areas and regulations. Construction of an open car park with a capacity of 78 vehicles started on Izmit Karayolu Street. While the rainwater line and lighting works are being completed in the second stage of the parking lot, the first stage of which has been completed, excavations continue. The lines of the open car park, which is located next to the Plajyolu stop of the Akçaray tram line and has a concrete floor, will be drawn. Eroding asphalt will be laid on Karayolu Street, which is located in front of the parking lot and where binder asphalt has been laid.

EASY ACCESS TO THE CITY CENTER

With the parking lot, which has started to be built in front of the Plajyolu stop of the Akçaray tram line, citizens going to the district center will have the opportunity to travel by rail system by leaving their vehicles in the parking lot without entering the city center. It will be possible to go to Kuruçeşme center on foot via the overpass on the D-100. While the concrete pouring process is being completed in the area, excavation work is being carried out in the second phase of the project.
