Nilüfer Kent Theatre’s Playwriting Program is Nearing Its End

The Play Writing Program organized by Nilüfer City Theater with the aim of introducing new works to the theater world has come to an end.

Organized by Nilüfer City Theatre, which continues its activities within the body of Nilüfer Municipality, in cooperation with Mitos Siz Theater Publications; Work continues within the scope of the Playwriting Program, which aims to encourage playwriting and introduce contemporary texts to the local theater play repertoire.

After determining the play drafts of the 4 writers who were accepted to the preliminary selection last July, the drafts were developed in workshops organized under the management of Süreyya Karacabey. The plays, which were almost completed, were read by the professional cast of Nilüfer City Theater over the weekend, and the writers listened to these readings. In the last workshop held, actors and writers talked about plays sohbet He carried out an efficient work.

After the experience in the workshop, the authors will continue the development and writing process by revisiting their plays. It is planned that the authors will finalize their plays in the coming months. After the 4 games in the preliminary selection are finalized, the games that will be included in the main selection will be determined and published as a book.
