Environmentally Friendly Electric Buses Are Coming to Kayseri

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, under the management of Mayor Büyükkılıç, continues its efforts to move Kayseri further in almost every field, especially transportation, infrastructure, urbanization, agriculture and animal husbandry, education, health, sports and tourism, and continues to take important steps in the field of transportation. .
In this context, Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç said that Kayseri Transportation Inc. rejuvenated its fleet and purchased 15 new electric articulated buses.
Emphasizing that they added 18 electric, environmentally friendly articulated buses, 15 meters long, to the transportation fleet, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “While we are developing and expanding within the scope of the transportation network, we are also strengthening and rejuvenating the transportation fleet in Kayseri. We evaluated, interviewed and finalized it. “We bought 15 electric, environmentally friendly articulated buses,” he said.
Stating that the new buses will arrive soon, Büyükkılıç said, “They will come in stages, our aim is to enrich our fleet and carry out future work within an environmentally friendly approach. “Congratulations to our 15 new 18-meter electric articulated buses,” he said.
Stating that the first two vehicles have been delivered, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “These vehicles, which are domestically produced and 100 percent electric, stand out with their length of 18 meters and the capacity to carry 144 passengers. “As the total number of vehicles increases to 254, the average age of the fleet will decrease to 10,7 years,” he said.
Stating that they are trying to take Kayseri to better points in the field of transportation, as in every field, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “During this period, we bought 73 new buses, including 18-meter articulated buses. We bought 11 new tram vehicles. We carry around 550 thousand passengers. We transport 180 thousand of them by trams. “He gets on from İldem and gets off at City Hospital or Mobilyakent,” he said.
1 BILLION TL SUPPORT FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Stating that the people of Kayseri deserve the best quality of service, especially transportation, Büyükkılıç said, “We are at the peak of sacrifice. “We support transportation by subsidizing our Transportation Inc. with nearly 1 billion TL,” he said.
