41 Attacks on US Troops in Iraq, 41 Against American Forces in Syria Since Oct. 17

There have been 41 attacks on US troops in Iraq since Oct. 17 and another 41 against American forces in Syria, Pentagon official tells Al Arabiya English.

This comes after last night’s multi-mortar attack against the US Baghdad Embassy Compound. No casualties were reported.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the officials told Al Arabiya English that there were another two attacks Friday morning against US forces at Al-Asad Airbase in Iraq. A separate rocket attack was unsuccessful against US troops at Mission Support Site Euphrates, Syria.
